Let's see, you don't give a code example you're compiling (if it's "hello
world", say so). You don't say what platform you're building for. You don't
say what compiler you're using. You don't say what the heck "stack
protector" is and whether you get segfaults if you don't fiddle with it. (Is
one of those two values the default? I wouldn't know, I've never even heard
of those options...)

It doesn't crash for me. Give me something I can reproduce, please. I'm
building it for nine different platforms here, and seven of them run under
qemu. (They're at http://landley.net/code/firmware/downloads if you want to
reproduce it yourself.) Powerpc is broken in qemu so I don't know how uClibc
does, and sparc seems to be broken in uClibc but I can't really say I care
about that one.

Sorry to hear that. I'll stop worrying about your vague bug report I can't
reproduce then.
