need help on compiling uClibc 0.9.29 for mipsel platform

Where did you get the toolchain from ?
I suspect it is a misconfiguration problem of the binutils (ld).
You should check how it has been configured, in particular the values 
used for the configuration
option --prefix, --libdir.
